The Faithfull Essentials Garden Rake has 12 strong metal tines, that make it ideal for loosening soil, leveling earth and gravel, collecting weeds and disregarded undergrowth, as well as moving larger pieces of debris from the borders. The head is manufactured from heat-treated (hardened) carbon steel to provide both strength and durability. The polypropylene and powder-coated finish provide improved resistance to rust, scratches, humidity and alkaloids in the soil. Shrinkage/wood movement
Wood is a natural product and over time with extreme weather of rain and sun
the wood will contract and expand. This is not failure of the wood. Small
splits, cracks and knots can be wood filled where needed.
Wood may also move after installation which can cause issues but is completely unavoidable and is a result of being a natural product and is not a failing.
Wood Aftercare
All wood requires treatment to protect against the elements. This must be
done within 3 months of the timber being installed and annually thereafter.
