Anti-Slip Decking Strips - TreadGrip®

Prevent slips, trips and falls on your garden decking, paths, ramps and steps. Timber decking areas are notorious for becoming slippery when wet or covered with green algae. Decking strips are manufactured from corrosion resistant fibreglass (GRP) so will never rot or rust. Ideal for use in high pedestrian traffic areas due to the hard-wearing quartz grit bonded to the top surface. 

Quality

They have been tested to BS7976-2 and proven to provide ‘better than excellent’ grip in wet conditions. Please contact us if you would like to see a copy of the test report. 

They are also UV and thermally stable. 20,000 strips always in stock up to 1200mm in length. If you require a length other than what is listed, please leave a note when checking out and we will cut them for you free of charge. 

Installation

TreadGrip® Anti-slip decking strips are simple to install. They have been designed to be screwed direct to decking boar. Reisser R2 Cutter Screws are recommended which form a countersink when driving them home. Decking strips are available from stock in Black and Grey, why not ask us if you require an alternative colour. The strips are 50mm wide and are pre-drilled during manufacture.
