Each blade has laser cut expansion slots to improve their performance by reducing heat build up, and many sizes are available with different tooth counts that allow the user to select the correct blade for the job in hand

Shrinkage/wood movement

Wood is a natural product and over time with extreme weather of rain and sun
the wood will contract and expand. This is not failure of the wood. Small
splits, cracks and knots can be wood filled where needed.

Wood may also move after installation which can cause issues but is completely unavoidable and is a result of being a natural product and is not a failing.

Wood Aftercare

All wood requires treatment to protect against the elements. This must be
done within 3 months of the timber being installed and annually thereafter.
